Oneday began as a company with a simple mission: to make places more interesting. Oneday aims to ensure that places work economically, socially and environmentally for the people who live, work, and visit them. From the beginning, we understood the power of embedding social value into everything we do, and from this vision, grow CIC was born.

grow CIC is the community focused arm of Oneday, dedicated to delivering lasting social and environmental impact across Knowsley and the wider Liverpool City Region.

In 2022, we took on the stewardship of Bowring Park & Golf Course through a landmark 125-year social value lease with Knowsley Council. In this lease, we committed to embedding social value into every aspect of the park’s future, ensuring it directly benefits the local community. Since then, Bowring Park has thrived as a space for golf, leisure, events, nature, and heritage, welcoming people of all ages and abilities

Building on this commitment, we’ve launched new ventures designed to bring people together and support local needs. The Coach House Cafe and Huyton Village Green Cafe are vibrant community hubs, spaces for food, culture, creativity, and connection. And from our work at Bowring Park, grow CIC has become the dedicated platform for driving social and environmental change across Knowsley and beyond.

grow CIC is the Liverpool City Region’s Sustainability Campus, helping individuals, businesses, and communities understand, measure, and grow their impact. Together with our partners, we’ve already created £15.9m of social impact, and this is just the beginning.
